Laboratory Products Sales Representative

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibility of the LPSR's is to sell the Tosoh line of reversed phase HPLC columns. The incumbent will focus 80% of their efforts calling on Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, and Biotechnology accounts within their assigned territory and the remaining time calling on academic and government accounts. To achieve sales goals, the LPSR will visit customers’ sites, calling on laboratories to present our reversed phase products and will provide a high level of after sale support and customer service. Territory is focused on the West Coast and includes primarily California but other West Coast locations could be added depending on need.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal Candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field of Biology or Chemistry, a minimum 2 years Field Sales experience or extensive HPLC experience, excellent communication, and organizational skills. A working knowledge of chromatography is essential. 80% percent of time is spent in the field, and overnight travel (35 – 50%) is necessary depending on location of residence. We prefer the incumbent to live in the San Francisco, Los Angeles, or San Diego area of California.
