TSKgel GMHhr-H(S) HT mixed bed columns are packed with rigid, 13μm, polymer beads of various pore sizes. They are used for the high temperature analysis of very large polymers having a broad molecular weight range where shear forces need to be minimized. TSKgel GMHhr-H(S) HT columns are shipped in o-dichlorobenzene (ODCB), which can be exchanged for 1-chloronaphthalene and trichlorobenzene.
The issue of shearing that occurs with the analysis of ultra high molecular weight polymers is overcome by the TSKgel GMHhr-H(S) HT column. The (S) is a reference to this shearing effect.
