Submit your note describing the technical performance or innovative application of any of our TSK-GEL columns and be rewarded for your contribution!  Although applications using TSK-GEL columns are continuously published in the scientific journals, jointly published technical essays offer an additional means to communicate this type of information to our user community.  Selected applications may appear in an upcoming issue of The Application Notebook published by LCGC Magazine.

Tosoh Bioscience may contact you for editorial support on your Application Note, but in any event we will give you the opportunity to approve the final version before publication.  Once your material is approved for publication, we will send you a $25 gift card from either Home Depot or Target – your choice!  Plus you’ll receive 25% off your next order of our TSK-GEL columns!  (Order must be placed directly with Tosoh Bioscience in order to receive the 25% discount.)

CONTENT AND GUIDELINES

If you wish to participate, follow the guidelines below.

• An Application Note must be between 1000 and 1500 words, including subheadings and legends.
• The content follows the following format:
  • Abstract
  • Introduction
  • Materials and methods
  • Results and Discussion, including 3-4 figures
  • Conclusions
  • References
• Contact details for both the Company and author, including company logo, must be supplied.
• Competitor products must be named in product comparisons.
• All images (illustrations/figures/tables and logos) should be supplied as TIF or EPS files that are high resolution – 300dpi.  Chromatograms should be supplied in excel format, giving us the ability to convert to EPS files.
• Preference will be given to materials that are not part of a submitted or published scientific publication to avoid copyright conflicts.
  

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

With the submission of an Application Note, the author agrees to the following terms and conditions:

• The author grants Tosoh Bioscience the royalty free right to use, modify, edit and publish the Application Note at its own discretion.  Nevertheless, Tosoh Bioscience will obtain the author’s approval of the final version of the Application Note before publication.
• The author warrants the author owns all copyright in the Application Note.  Regardless, if Tosoh Bioscience so requests, the author will procure for Tosoh Bioscience confirmation to this effect from the author’s Company/employer.
• The author warrants that all the facts contained in the Application Note are accurate.
• The author warrants that nothing in the Application Note violates any duty of confidentiality which the author may owe to anyone else or violates any contract, express or implied and written or verbal, of the author (including any contract between the author and any institution in which work recorded in the Application Note was carried out).
