Faster mAb Transport Reduces Pool Volumes
The Toyopearl GigaCap® line of high performance ion exchange resins has quickly gained acceptance by our customers. A recent article from scientists at Percivia LLC using the PER.C6® cell mAb expression system with Toyopearl GigaCap S-650M resin was published in the May issue of BioProcess International. The article dramatically points out the high dynamic binding capacity and excellent mass transfer properties of Toyopearl GigaCap S-650M resin when used for mAb purification. These properties contribute to higher process throughput and significantly reduced elution pool volumes.
