Want to learn more about our Process media products?  Here’s your chance. This issue of Resolution Solution features information on our NEW Toyopearl GigaCap® ion exchange resins, spotlighting their high capacities and fast elution kinetics. Speaking of ion exchange resins, we just introduced new non-porous, large particle size ion exchange columns that enable fast equilibration and analysis of complex biomolecular samples. Read more below for the details on these TSK-GEL STAT columns and about much more that Tosoh Bioscience has to offer!

LCGC: A Hydrophilic Interaction Chromatography Method for the Purity Analysis of Cytosine
LCGC, Vol 26, No 7: pp 632-642 (July 2008)
Mark Strege, Charles Durant, John Boettinger, and Michael Fogarty

A HILIC method (Hydrophilic Interaction Chromatography) was developed using a TSKgel Amide-80 column for the determination of cytosine purity. The HPLC system was equipped with electrospray ionization mass spectrometry detection for confirmation of the identity of selected related impurities.

Toyopearl GigaCap Q-650M (strong anion)

Product Overviews

PO21: Toyopearl GigaCap CM-650M

Toyopearl GigaCap CM-650M is the second cation exchange resin in the Toyopearl GigaCap family, optimized for high throughput purification of IgG. Its base bead is Toyopearl HW-65C which has a particle size range of 50-100μm. This particle size range has outstanding pressure flow characteristics for high throughput IgG purification

PO22: TSK-GEL SP-STAT and TSK-GEL CM-STAT columns

TSK-GEL SP-STAT and TSK-GEL CM-STAT cation exchange columns allow fast equilibration and analysis, as well as isolation, of complex biomolecules. These columns offer very efficient chromatography for high as well as low MW solutes - made possible by novel bonding chemistry and the absence of micro-pores.
